I've actually been holding off doing this review for a while now because I thought it would be perfect for my 'Back to School Extravaganza'.
More and more students are bringing their lunches to school each day no matter what age they are due to rising food costs and lessening quality. My university for example, charged nearly $10 for a wrap, chips and a drink...totally unaffordable.
On the other hand, it can be difficult to find snacks that are actually healthy and complement a sandwich. Traditional fried chips are just too fattening/salty/caloric. While baked chips can be bland and unexciting.
Fortunately this is where a company called PopChips comes in.
Popchips are literally popped potatoes! They have the texture of a rice cake but are much more flavorful. They come in original, barbecue, sour cream and onion, cheddar, sea salt and vinegar, salt and pepper and parmesan garlic flavors. Phew that's alot!
They only contain 100 calories per single serving bag and these bags contain a ton more than traditional potato chips.
The folks at Popchips have even offered to giveaway a Popchips Variety Pack to one YFF reader!
