Madame Tussauds NYC Review

On a recent trip to New York City, I had the opportunity to visit the Times Square Location of Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.

With locations across the world including Las Vegas, London, Tokyo, Sydney and more, it has been become a popular tourist attraction. In fact, more than 500 million people have visited Madame Tussauds locations nationwide.

Since I visited the New York City location, I will be focusing my review on that particular museum.

My boyfriend and I went to Madame Tussauds on a Friday night so it was quite busy, but since the exhibit is huge (5 or 6 floors if I remember correctly!) it was not a problem.

We were absolutely astounded at how life like each figure appeared and it is no wonder since each figure takes four months to create and around $125,000.

I really enjoyed the Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William figures which are fairly new to the museum.

I also enjoyed seeing my absolute favorite news anchor, Anderson Cooper.

and I was absolutely awe struck by Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

Overall, we spent about two hours in the museum. We could not help but take many photos throughout the exhibit because every figure is so life like. While some look more like the celebrities than others, they are all absolutely amazing works of art.

There was also a pretty neat gift shop inside of the exhibit that allowed you to make a wax model of your hand for a fee. The shop also sold many other souvenirs that could be personalized.

I would definitely recommend visiting Madame Tussauds the next time you are near one. It is a unique experience that you will never forget.
